Thu, Jul 25

If the Buddha were alive today and walked out of his compound as a young prince trained to be a king, might he have noticed an ever deeper problem than suffering? Join me to deconstruct separation and awaken into intimacy with and belonging to Life.

About the event
We have entered into a liminal rite of passage or trial by ordeal that calls each of us to examine the ontological foundations of our thoughts, behaviors, choices and identities, and to step more deeply into intimacy with and belonging to Life.
Tyson Yunkaporta, author of Sand Talk, How Indigenous Wisdom Can Save the World, writes, “You are not separate from the System. You are part of a self-sentient system observing itself. (Culture, identity), law and governance grow organically out of a particular landscape which [is the context for] knowledge production and knowledge transmission.”
EnLifenment is spirituality for a world that has lost contact with the contextual fabric of reality that makes self, world and other possible.
In this 90 minute workshop we'll ask:
- Who are we?
- What are we?
- Why does context matter?
- And, who and what might we become if we embrace our belonging to the Gaian system that makes our lives possible?
We'll explore the concepts of:
- Wholeness
- Uniqueness
- Relationship
- Place-ing
- Time
- Attention
- Imagination
- Reciprocity
Ours is an initiation of choiceless choice. We must choose life. Our collective rite of passage as an opportunity to return to the Circle of Life of which we are a part and restore the currencies of our love attention to Life.
This is the second in a series of offerings focusing on remembering our place, as True Humans, within the larger Circle of Life.
Join me on the Thursday July 25th to remember a belonging and wholeness you already know.
